That's why we are delighted to bring you the X-PERT Weight Program, developed in the United Kingdom by Dr Trudi Deakin, whose programs are delivered across 102 centres through more than 600 educators, and have helped more than a quarter of a million people so far.
This Group Coaching Program combines comprehensive education, high quality printed and digital resources, the support of an experienced Health Coach and the motivation of a group of like-minded peers.
Each week you will be supported by our experienced Health Coach and Accredited Practising Dietitian, with an in-depth exploration of a range of topics to build your knowledge and confidence in making sustainable food and lifestyle changes to achieve your health and weight goals.
12 weeks x 90 minute group sessions, conducted in a group setting including:
a 200-page Resource Folder containing nutrition and health information, support tools, tips, practical suggestions, recipes and food diary templates.
Debunking the eat less, move more myth, and why crash diets are not the solution to sustainable weight loss.
Understand what happens to food when we eat it and the impact on body weight.
Assess the amount of carbs in food and your daily intake, the impact of fructose, and how fibre protects us.
Explore different dietary approaches for weight loss (Mediterranean, low carb and intermittent fasting).
Why fasting is good for you, and discussion on how and when to do it.
Explore foods for fullness, what causes hunger and the concept of nutritional ketosis.
Reading and understanding food labels and nutrient guidance for different dietary approaches.
Explore amounts and types of fat and physical activity (aerobic, HITT and resistance) for weight loss and health.
Stress and sleep – the impact on hormones and weight. And explore the psychology of eating.
Gut microbiota, prebiotics and probiotics and the impact of the environment and medication.
Understanding health results and prevention and management of long term health problems.
Lose fat and keep it off: Top tips for long term maintenance.
Helen is an experienced and highly effective coach who works with individuals and organisations who understand that growing older doesn't have to mean growing sicker. As a former registered nurse and health care executive, Helen holds a Masters in Health Coaching & Applied Nutrition and is the go-to coach for clients and practitioners who believe that enjoying life-long good health is a goal we should all aspire to.
Camilla holds a Masters of Nutrition and Dietetic Practice, with previous training in biomedicine and exercise science. Following a food first, evidenced based approach to nutrition she prescribes nutrient dense, antioxidant and fibre rich diets that are naturally low in carbohydrates and is a strong advocate for empowering people to change their health behaviours to improve their quality and enjoyment of life.

The program fee is $600, payable in two instalments; $300 upon registration followed by $300 prior to 3 December 2018 (Week 7).
